Freezer smoothie packs designed for postpartum recovery. Just blend with milk and yogurt for a nutrient-dense recovery drink.
Ingredients
- *2 cups Frozen spinach
- *2 cups Frozen blueberries
- *1 cup Frozen mango chunks
- *0.5 cup Raw almonds
- *3 tablespoons Ground flaxseed
- *2 tablespoons Hemp seeds
- *1 teaspoon Spirulina powder
- *0.25 cup Rolled oats
- *1 cup Greek yogurt (optional to blend)
- *1.5 cups Milk (optional to blend)
Instructions
- 1Divide frozen spinach equally among 4 freezer bags (about 1/2 cup each).
- 2Add 1/2 cup blueberries to each bag.
- 3Add 1/4 cup mango chunks to each bag.
- 4Add 2 tablespoons almonds to each bag.
- 5Add 2 teaspoons flaxseed to each bag.
- 6Add 1.5 teaspoons hemp seeds to each bag.
- 7Add 1/4 teaspoon spirulina to each bag.
- 8Add 1 tablespoon oats to each bag.
- 9Seal bags, label with date, and freeze.
- 10To prepare: Pour contents of one smoothie pack into a blender. Add 1 cup Greek yogurt and 1.5 cups milk. Blend until smooth.
How to Freeze
Prepare smoothie packs in individual freezer bags, removing as much air as possible. Freeze for up to 3 months.
Reheating Instructions
No reheating needed. Blend frozen smoothie pack directly with milk and yogurt for a cold, refreshing drink.
