Freezer smoothie packs designed for postpartum recovery. Just blend with milk and yogurt for a nutrient-dense recovery drink.

Ingredients

  • *2 cups Frozen spinach
  • *2 cups Frozen blueberries
  • *1 cup Frozen mango chunks
  • *0.5 cup Raw almonds
  • *3 tablespoons Ground flaxseed
  • *2 tablespoons Hemp seeds
  • *1 teaspoon Spirulina powder
  • *0.25 cup Rolled oats
  • *1 cup Greek yogurt (optional to blend)
  • *1.5 cups Milk (optional to blend)

Instructions

  1. 1Divide frozen spinach equally among 4 freezer bags (about 1/2 cup each).
  2. 2Add 1/2 cup blueberries to each bag.
  3. 3Add 1/4 cup mango chunks to each bag.
  4. 4Add 2 tablespoons almonds to each bag.
  5. 5Add 2 teaspoons flaxseed to each bag.
  6. 6Add 1.5 teaspoons hemp seeds to each bag.
  7. 7Add 1/4 teaspoon spirulina to each bag.
  8. 8Add 1 tablespoon oats to each bag.
  9. 9Seal bags, label with date, and freeze.
  10. 10To prepare: Pour contents of one smoothie pack into a blender. Add 1 cup Greek yogurt and 1.5 cups milk. Blend until smooth.

How to Freeze

Prepare smoothie packs in individual freezer bags, removing as much air as possible. Freeze for up to 3 months.

Reheating Instructions

No reheating needed. Blend frozen smoothie pack directly with milk and yogurt for a cold, refreshing drink.
